Worship is a natural response to God’s boundless love for us, and it doesn’t just happen on Sundays! On Sunday mornings, however, we gather to praise God together just as Christians have done since the earliest days of the Church. We declare God’s glory through a variety of gifts, some traditional and some new. We pray with and for each other. We come expecting to experience God’s presence, to hear God’s Word in Holy Scripture, and to reflect on its application in daily life through relevant and thoughtful preaching. Of course, we also believe that we are sent forth to live and share our faith, and to be the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus Christ. We’d love to have you join us!
What to Expect when you visit…
Visiting a new place can be a little intimidating, but we strive to make FPC a warm, caring place to worship and serve. We promise to greet you warmly and get to know your name. We will answer questions, listen to your concerns, and care for your family.
In worship, we sing, read scripture, pray, and refocus our minds on the God who created the universe and loves us. We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion monthly and at particular times during the Christian year. Special worship materials are made available to children, and all children are invited to participate in Children’s Church, which follows the Children’s Sermon in “The Lodge” children’s wing. A nursery is also available for infants and young children, with special pagers provided to parents should a need arise.
